According to the Fire Service, a few minutes before midnight yesterday, the Service received a call about a fire in 200 hay bales in an open area, in the Livestock area in Klaydia, in Larnaca.
The Larnaca Fire Station responded with a firefighting team and a tanker vehicle.
The fire is estimated to have been caused by spontaneous combustion.
