"Implementation of paid parental leave. We continue the fight to support families" the message of MP Andreas Apostolou.

As he said in a written statement, the debate on the proposal to extend the period a father is entitled to apply for paternity leave continued today in the Committee on Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance.

"At the same time, I submitted a question today to the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, Mrs. Zeta Aimylianidou, on when the Bill on Paid Parental Leave will be sent to the Committee," the MP of the EPP noted.

"We still have a lot to do to implement policies to support families. I look forward to the cooperation of everyone but especially the competent Minister to achieve them" he concludes.
