As the Chairman of the Legal Committee, DISY MP Nikos Tornaritis, stated after the meeting of the Legal Committee, the bill was discussed in a final session, expressing his satisfaction that it is now clearly going to the plenary session of the Parliament on January 20 without any more amendments or remarks or otherwise how.
"I wish and hope that all parliamentary groups, parties will vote for this bill because it is truly revolutionary and it is one of the three bills that will send a message both inside Cyprus and abroad that we are changing, that we are finally taking serious decisions to curb corruption in our country," he said.
