According to the police, the section of the Anthoupolis-Paleochori road, at the confluence to Kato Moni, in the Arediou area, which had been closed around 10 am, has been reopened to traffic.30 before noon on Saturday, for the safe conduct of a protest event, by a number of citizens who had gathered at the site.
Members of the Police were in the area to provide assistance, regulate traffic and direct it to alternative roads.
At the end of the protest event, around 1.00 noon, the road was opened to traffic, which is currently continuing as normal.
