At the unveiling of the new Lexus NX at the Lexus Centre, Nicosia, the new model clearly made its mark, marking a revolution in its class, as it impressed media representatives with its refined design aesthetics, high luxury, subtle refinement and technological excellence.
Mr. Dikran Uzunian, President and CEO of Toyota-Lexus Cyprus welcomed and thanked the attendees for their presence, and noted that the Lexus NX heralds new directions in design, with innovative engines that make the new model the first plug-in hybrid electric car from Lexus, taking a great leap forward in dynamic performance, offering greater connection between driver and car through Lexus Driving Signature.
Subsequently, Mr. Lukas Leonidou, Marketing & CX Manager, Toyota Cyprus, during his presentation, expressed his thanks to top Cypriot gymnast Mr. Marios Georgiou, who was present at the event, as Toyota Cyprus will support him in his preparation for his trip to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Thus Toyota Cyprus, together with Milan Trajkovic, who has served as an official Toyota Ambassador as part of the company's Start Your Impossible campaign, is now supporting two top Cypriot athletes, embodying its vision to cultivate and promote the principles of the Olympic spirit in Cyprus.
At the same time, Mr Leonidou noted, among other things, the successes of the first generation NH and the quality features of the new NH, noting that 95% of the vehicle's parts are new, which makes the new NH truly a new generation product.
He also mentioned that more than 175,000 Lexus NXs have been sold in Europe since 2014, making the NX a true champion in Lexus customers' preferences.
Finally, he stressed that the new Lexus NX marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lexus, as its arrival sets the milestone for a steady stream of new and refreshed models in an all-electric range - with at least 20 new models by 2025.
A detailed presentation on the features and details of the new generation NX was given by Mr. Konstantinos Ioannidis, General Manager of Lexus Cyprus, who spoke at length about the subversive design of the new model both in terms of the exterior bodywork and the interior of the cabin, where Lexus' L-finesse philosophy is clearly visible.
Mr. Ioannidis made special reference to the Tazuna cockpit philosophy, with the word Tazuna in Japanese denoting the reins of a horse, to highlight that the implementation of the Tazuna cockpit in the all-new NX allows the driver to feel more connected to the car itself and to the driving while always keeping his eyes on the road.
The launch of the new Lexus NX was accompanied by a reception that featured high aesthetics, glamour, attention to detail and distinguished guests.
What stood out at the event was the inspiration and excitement experienced from the new Lexus NX by the team of Pralina Experience chefs who, based on Lexus principles, created THE "FEEL MORE" LEXUS MENU, aiming to stimulate the senses so that the Lexus Experience Amazing is fully in tune with the culinary expertise and experience of the Pralina Experience.
The new Lexus NX plug-in hybrid captures the feeling of ultimate balance. Its originality is due to its unique composition in which its hybrid character blends harmoniously with dynamism, deep knowledge, respect for tradition and the need for evolution and innovation.
