On Sunday morning, the memorial service for the three girls will be held at the Church of St. Eleftherios in Patras. Georgina Daskalaki "passed away" at the end of January and Sunday marks almost 40 days after her death, while on the same day there will be a memorial service for her two little sisters, Iris and Malena.
As the days go by, the agony of the Daskalaki family grows for the reasons that led their three children to death, within 33 months.
The investigations of the Department of Crimes Against Life of the Attica Security Department are proceeding at an intensive pace, while the results of the toxicological tests of Georgina are awaited, in the hope that they will provide answers to what exactly has happened.
According to secure information of tempo24.news, the investigation on the part of the Police is currently focused on the death of Georgina.
The microscope of the officers of the Attica Security have already put all the data and information that have been collected and relate to the period from the first hospitalization of the child at the Karamandaneio Hospital on April 7, 2021, where he was admitted with an episode of convulsions and later suffered cardiac arrest, until his death.
The same information says that the experienced officers of the Attica Security Department, who are handling the case, have visited Patras, with extreme secrecy, to collect information.
So far, safe sources say that the process of depositions of the doctors or anyone else who handled the child's case in Patras has not started, after people from the Athens Children's Hospital, where he breathed his last, will be summoned.
The crucial 35 minutes that raises questions
The questions, however, instead of finding answers, keep growing. Based on the mother's testimony regarding the first death, that of Malena, on the morning of Saturday, April 13, 2019, the little girl was in good condition and in fact, a photo of her eating a kebab in her hospital room is typical. A few hours later, when the father left, everything changed.
That afternoon, my husband left and I stayed by her side and slept with her. After an hour we woke up with the little one, because the nurse came into the room and gave her a medicine for her stomach. After ten minutes, at 4:40 p.m. the child shook, pulled out a loop and lay with her eyes half open. I spoke to her, shouted 'Malena, Malena', took from her little hands the cloths that she was in the habit of holding in her sleep and ran to the nurses' room."
However, this is not confirmed by the official documents recorded by the doctors on the 3-year-old's demise, as they say that they were called by the mother for assistance at 17:15, 35 minutes later.
Thus, a crucial 35 minutes is pending, which raises questions about what happened in those moments or whether the doctors' report is accurate.
