The test for fully vaccinated persons arriving in the occupied territories has been abolished The quarantine for those who have not been vaccinated has been abolished
As of today, the obligation to be checked upon entering the pseudo-state has been abolished for persons who have completed their vaccinations, while for those who have not been vaccinated quarantine has been abolished, but they will have to provide a PCR or antigen test.
As reported from the occupied territories, the decision was taken by the "Supreme Committee for Infectious Diseases" of the "Ministry of Health" and came into force from today, 1 March. For the unvaccinated, arrival in the pseudo-state requires a 72-hour PCR or 24-hour rapid test, and they will have to do between 72 and 120 hours of PCR in the pseudo-state, instead of the 5-day quarantine that was in effect until yesterday.
Also starting today, fully vaccinated employees will not be required to have weekly antigen tests, except for school/special education, nursing home/nursing home and prison employees.
The decision of the "committee" of the "health ministry" states that with regard to crossings within the island - from the barricades - the bi-communal Technical Committee on Health will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, and any decisions will be announced later.
The use of masks indoors remains mandatory. Occupancy in enclosed spaces will reach 75%.
The procedure also changes for positive cases in schools. Anyone who is positive for the virus will stay home and contacts will be isolated until PCR results are available. Depending on the result, the "health ministry" monitoring team will inform school administrators whether or not to return contacts. In any case, students who are not considered contacts will continue face-to-face lessons using a mask.
It is also reported that the vaccination programme will continue for children over 5 years old.
