Tasos Chalkias "The new presenters don't know how to interact with actors and they give us a hard time" The actor expressed his displeasure with the new presenters and the way they treat their guests

Tasos Chalkias spoke about his episodic "encounter" with Ioanna Maleskou on the air of Love It.[/B]

The actor made a statement to the camera of the show "Proino" and expressed his annoyance with the presenter, as well as with the new girls in the industry in general.

"In morning to midday TV shows there is a varied information magazines with a piece on culture. But when you leave it as the last item to close a show, you can't leave it just in case you catch up. Sure you can give an avant-garde 5 minutes, 10 minutes, the quarter of courtesy, but to wait 35 to 40 minutes?" the actor initially said.

Then he added: "For you to go on air in the last five minutes and not have time to say something about your work, let alone other non-work related issues, well that's a shame. Even assuming that I was irritated by the time I was expecting to go on, you as the host ought to calm your guest down to have a nice conversation with them. You don't irritate him more."

Irritated with the phenomenon of journalists coming "unread", Tasos Chalkias pointed out the difference between the old faces of television and the new ones.

"In the past, these things didn't exist. Forgive me Eleni, Faye, Eleonora, I'm talking about the younger girls and you have nothing to do with them. And you know it from me, I have to say that. Because young girls need to learn more about what they do, what it means to host a show. The girl didn't know who she was talking to. Is it possible that I started with Love Story? I was already 41 years old, I had been starting for 20 years," he said.

Finally, he said this is not the first time this has happened to him on a show. "In the last four months it's happened to me twice, having to wait to go on a show. It doesn't matter where, it was an Open show and a SKY show. Those two channels don't do fiction. They don't know how to interact with actors. They trouble both us and them," he concluded.
