Stuart will be received at 11am at the Presidential Palace by President Anastasiades, while at 15.00 he will have a meeting in the occupied territories with Mr Tatar.
The discussions are expected to focus on how each side sees the effort for a settlement of the Cyprus problem evolving,[/B] in the light of what is mentioned in the UN Security Council resolution[/B] on the renewal of the mandate of the UN peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) for another six months.
The UN official, speaking last month before the Security Council on the reports of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on his Good Offices Mission and UNFICYP, had said that the focus of the Mission now is on building trust and respect between the two communities and then creating a better environment for peace building on the island.
