Before Famagusta District Court today, the 19-year-old arrested from Famagusta province, who admitted after his arrest to committing a total of 70 thefts from cars and two burglaries and thefts in Famagusta province.
A detention order[/B] for 6 days was issued against the young man, while according to the police, 4 other arrest warrants have been issued which are expected to be executed today.
According to police, this is a gang of young men, who in the last month had carried out more than 70 cases of theft from cars and burglary and theft from residences in the Famagusta Free District[/B].
The cases are being investigated by a special investigative team which has been set up for this purpose.
