Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and mostly cloudy in places and localised showers or isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the western half of the island. Winds will be northeast to southeast, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, and occasionally very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort, on the windward coast. The sea will be choppy in the morning and choppy on the northern coast, becoming choppy in the afternoon on the windward coast.
