Zion Brown's mother recognized her son in robbery photos and took him to turn him over to police
When on February 15, Zion Brown robbed a train driver at gunpoint at Van Buren Street Station, he certainly didn't expect what would happen next
Police tracked down the 18-year-old from security cameras and his photos began circulating online, with authorities seeking information from anyone who knew anything.
The young man's mother, although his facial features were covered, recognized him and did what she thought was right.
She took him by the hand and took him to the police station to turn him in, with Zion Brown putting up no resistance.
In total, the 18-year-old took $110 from the train driver, and the gun he threatened him with turned out to be fake.
