Besides being one of the biggest stars of the world music scene, Shakira is also a proud mom and she shows it at every opportunity.
The Colombian singer, does not hesitate to frequently post footage, from her everyday life.
Without the flashy clothes, high heels and professional makeup we are used to seeing her in, Sakira posted a video on Instagram, in which she celebrates her 7-year-old son's victory in a karate tournament.
Little Sasha, won first place in the competition and the 45-year-old singer couldn't hide her joy. In the video, Shakira bounces and cheers the little one on as he climbs the first place podium. Her happiness is so great that she even takes off her mask to shout in celebration.
She writes in the video's caption:

In an earlier video in December, Shakira's mom posted another similar post with Sasha, writing:
"When your six-year-old accomplishes something and you want it more than any Grammy!Btw, I'm the deranged one screaming in the back."
Shakira and husband Gerard Pique, get emotional when they talk about their children either in an interview or via a humorous video on TikTok.
In 2020, the singer had shared little Sasha's environmental concerns stating that. When he sees litter on the street, on the beach, he is the one who wants to pick it up. One time we went around the block with gloves on picking up trash in the neighborhood. It was a very nice family activity. It made me see how concerned they are about the environment."
