A serious accident with a cyclist occurred in the afternoon in Nicosia.

According to initial information, at around half past six in the afternoon, a cyclist heading towards Clerou,

under circumstances under investigation, fell off a cliff about four metres high and ended up[/B] in a river.

An ambulance rushed to the scene and transported the cyclist to the Nicosia General Hospital

The Police are investigating the circumstances under which the man, of Asian origin, lost control and ended up on the cliff.
