The President of the Democratic Rally Mr. George Hadjigeorgiou, received today at the party's offices the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom Mr. Stephen Lillie and the Ambassador of Russia Mr. Stanislav Osadchiyl.
The resumption of dialogue to resolve our national issue was the focus of today's meetings of the President of the Democratic Rally.
Mr. Neophytou stressed again the will of our side to resume the dialogue on the agreed basis of a solution and what the UN Security Council resolutions provide for, but also that the position of Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot leadership on sovereign equality cannot be accepted as a precondition for the resumption of the dialogue.
The President of the Democratic Rally will continue his contacts with Ambassadors in the near future.
