[/P]A serious incident occurred at noon in Nicosia, when a high school student fell from a moving bus.
According to police, it was just before two o'clock in the afternoon when a bus carrying secondary school pupils was moving in the area of Nisou and Idaliou Far Village. At some point and while the vehicle had slowed down because it was about to come to a stop, under circumstances that are being investigated, an emergency exit of the bus opened, it is a door that does not open, resulting in a student falling into the road.
The schoolgirl was taken to Nicosia General Hospital for tests, with her health condition not causing concern.
Police are investigating the case, in cooperation with the electromechanical services to determine whether there was damage to the door or whether it was opened after student intervention.
