"The Democratic Party wishes all secondary school children, teachers and workers a happy school year," the party's MP and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Chrysanthos Savvidis, said in a written statement.
"Dear students, rest assured that by staying committed to your goals, with perseverance, patience and methodicalness you can achieve everything you dream of," Mr Savvidis notes.
He points out that "our goal is to claim the most suitable conditions for you. School units with air conditioning, proper building facilities, proper field facilities, but also a school in which the student conquers knowledge and makes it his/her own so that he/she can help them in their own lives."
"We wish everyone health, strength and success from the bottom of our hearts."
