Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister pays a working visit to Cyprus today. Kasoulides, followed by extended consultations

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, is paying a working visit to Cyprus today.He will discuss, among other issues, bilateral relations with his Cypriot counterpart, Ioannis Kasoulides, the Cyprus bilateral relations, the Cyprus problem, regional developments and other international issues of common interest.

The Saudi Foreign Minister will have a private meeting with Mr. Kasoulides, followed by extended consultations between the two Ministers in the presence of official delegations.

As announced, the discussions are expected to focus on, inter alia, the full range of bilateral relations between Cyprus and Saudi Arabia, as well as the prospects for further strengthening and deepening them, regional developments in the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region, the Gulf and the wider Middle East, the Cyprus problem, regional developments, EU-Saudi Arabia relations, as well as other international issues of common interest.

At the end of the consultations, shortly before 2 p.m., the two Foreign Ministers will make statements to the press.

Earlier, the Saudi Foreign Minister will be received at the Presidential Palace by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.
