In Ukraine they are mourning the victims of war and some in Russia are mourning... the loss of Instagram

The war in Ukraine rages for a 17th day with sirens sounding in many cities in the country today in the early hours of Saturday (12.03.2022).

Away from the fighting, the dead, the destruction and also the uprooting, some influencers in Russia are mourning... the loss of Instagram.

In a post uploaded a few hours ago by the Nexta tv network, a Russian influencer is shown flailing in tears as it is now only a matter of time before she loses her instagram account due to the sanctions imposed.

One of the #Russian bloggers cries that in two days her Instagram will stop working

She does not care at all about the thousands of dead people, including her compatriots. Obviously, her biggest worry right now is that she wont be able to post pictures of food from restaurants. pic.twitter.com/LSdBiSlwHr

As a reminder, the Russian telecommunications authority Roskomnadzor has decided to restrict access to Instagram for residents of Russia, as it considers it to be propaganda for the war in Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Russia has accused the popular social media outlet of propagandizing violence against Russian soldiers in connection with their involvement in Ukraine.
