"Western and Ukrainian media, as well as officials, have become even more active in reproducing the speculations about the imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine, as they put it. We are convinced that the goal of this campaign is to create a communication cover for the preparation of their own large-scale provocative actions, including military ones, which may have the most tragic consequences for regional and global security," said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
Ms. Zakharova called on "Western countries to stop the aggressive anti-Russian communication campaign, to stop contributing to the militarization of Ukraine by dragging it into NATO and instead direct their efforts to motivating the Kiev regime to comply with the Minsk agreements and its other international obligations."
