Latest update from the Police on the situation on the road network

The roads leading to Troodos (Platron - Troodos, Karvouna - Troodos and Prodromos - Troodos) are closed for all vehicles due to frost and snowfall.

The followingroads are open only to vehicles equipped with anti-skid chains or four-wheel drive:

Morphou area


  • Kakopetrias - Karvouna
  • Kakopetrias - Pinewood
  • Pedoulas - Prodromos
  • Pedoulas - Kykkos
  • Pedoulas - Platres
  • Kakopetrias - Caves
  • Prodromos - Lemythos - Kampos - Cross of Psoka - Moutoulas - Pedoulas

Paphos District


  • Pentalia - Panagia
  • Limassol District
  • Pera Field - Platron
  • Kyperounda - Karvouna
  • Agios Theodoros - Papoutsas

In the remaining areas, the road network does not present any particular problem for traffic. However, due to the rains the road surface is slippery, so drivers are advised to be particularly careful, drive at low speed and keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
