Morning update on the state of the road network - Roads closed in Larnaca and Nicosia due to the visit of the Israeli President

There are no particular problems on the main roads, both on motorways and urban areas, as well as in mountainous areas, where all roads are open for all vehicles.

It is recalled that today, due to the official visit of the President of Israel Mr. Isaac Herzog, in Cyprus, increased security measures will be taken.

In particular, from 10:00 a.m. today until 4 p.m. this afternoon, there will be intermittent short road closures in the Larnaca district, on the Larnaca - Nicosia highway and in the Nicosia district.

The public is requested to follow the instructions of the police officers on duty.

Police recommend caution to those travelling on the road network, who are advised to observe the Highway Code and obey traffic signs to avoid road accidents.
