Rihanna[/B] is receiving praise for donating food and clothing to homeless military veterans in Los Angeles. Earlier this week, the 33-year-old singer and businesswoman hosted a surprise visit to the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs facility.
Rihanna spent time with veterans and donated essentials. The singer was accompanied by activist and creator of the Checkpoint app, Sennett Devermont during her visit. The businessman congratulated Rihanna for her amazing heart, time and energy.
Thank you @badgalriri for the love and support and most importantly for listening to veterans, Devermont wrote in an Instagram post and posted photos of himself with Rihanna.
In a video shared by the Always For The People Foundation, a veteran revealed details of Rihanna's visit. I met Rihanna! The greatest singer in the world. She donated clothes, food and cares for veterans she said in a video.
US Army Veterans. U.S. Marines. Air Force veterans. He cares about all veterans. He cares about us and he showed us. And he will deal with our issues he stressed."
