The news about the incest and abuse allegations against Ricky Martin is occupying the media worldwide, after the contents of the court documents from his nephew's lawsuit came to light.
As a reminder, 21-year-old Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, who claims to have had a seven-month relationship with the singer, is accusing Martin of incest, mental and physical abuse. If his allegations are proven true, the world-famous star could face up to 50 years in prison.
However, the Puerto Rican singer seems to be unaffected and ignoring the serious allegations. His fans may be waiting for a response to everything that has been said in the last 24 hours, but he continues to post photos on social media as if nothing has happened.
Significantly, in the first post he made through his Instagram profile after the slew of posts with his nephew's accusations, Ricky Martin posted photos of him shooting a recently released music video.
In the caption, he wrote, among other things, "The uncertainty of a conflict disappears with the power of integrity."

The chronicle of the lawsuit by his sister's son
Recall that, according to a report in the Spanish newspaper Marca, a short time ago, a restraining order was issued against Martin in Puerto Rico for domestic violence. The identity of the client remained a secret until this hour, when Ricky Martin's brother, Eric, revealed who is suing the Puerto Rican with such serious charges.
Martin is accused of "physically and psychologically assaulting" his sister's son, Vanessa, during the seven-month relationship the young man claims they had, which actually ended about two months ago. A spokesperson for Martin had called the allegations of abuse "completely false and fabricated" in statements to People earlier this month.
Notably, the 50-year-old star, who was seen in Los Angeles on Friday filming the new AppleTV+ mini-series, was summoned to appear in court in Puerto Rico on July 21 for his trial.
Martin's prosecutor, believed to be Sanchez, filed a restraining order against the singer on July 1 under Puerto Rico's domestic violence law. The order prohibited Martin from contacting or calling the accuser, who reportedly "fears for his safety."
According to the order unearthed by El Vocero newspaper, Sanchez claimed that Martin did not accept their separation and was seen wandering near his home at least three times.
The 21-year-old also claimed that Martin had "consumed large amounts of alcohol and drugs."
The response of Martin's lawyers
The singer's lawyers immediately denied the charges while preparing a defense against Sanchez. Notably, Sanchez has a recent complaint pending against him from a woman whom he allegedly harassed with threats.
Martin's legal team told DailyMail that his nephew is struggling with profound mental health issues and dismissed all of his allegations, which they called "disgusting."
"Ricky Martin of course has not and would never be involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew," his lawyer stressed, adding: "The idea is not only untrue, it is repugnant. We all hope this man gets the help he so, so desperately needs. But above all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed once the judge examines the facts."
Eric Martin echoed the lawyer's claim, telling the Latin Post that his nephew suffers from "mental problems" and is "very sure that his young relative was not telling the truth."
Another spokesman for Martin also confirmed to the DailyMail late on Friday night that his accuser is a biological relative, disputing scenarios that he was his brother's stepson.
He denies it all
In an earlier Twitter post on July 4, Martin denied allegations of domestic violence, but since the release of his nephew's name for incest, he has not made any statements.
"The protection order issued against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond through the judicial process with the facts and dignity that characterize me. Because this is an ongoing legal matter, I cannot make detailed statements at this time. I am grateful for the countless messages of solidarity and receive them wholeheartedly," the 50-year-old star had written in his post.
As a reminder, Ricky Martin has been married to Swedish painter, Juan Joseph since 2017. The couple also has four children: twins Valentino and Mateo, Lucia, three and Ren.
