Halkın Sesi publishes the results of a survey conducted in December 2021 in the occupied territories and made public by the Centre for Migration, Identity and Rights Research (CMIRS), which conducts surveys every three months. The survey was conducted by telephone with the participation of 500 people.
It is noteworthy that the COVID-19 pandemic is not included in the classification of problems, the newspaper noted.
In addition, according to the survey, 93.39% of survey participants said that things are heading in the wrong direction in the occupied territories, while a proportion of 6.61% said they are heading in the right direction.
Also, 90.72% of participants have reported that the economic situation in "the country" will be worse in two years, and 83.54% responded that their economic situation will be worse in two years. In addition, 16.4% reported that their family financial situation is good and a percentage of 80.12% reported that they cannot meet their household expenses.
At the same time, 81.04% of the participants reported that they cannot maintain their living standard, 76.41% expressed concern because they will not be able to pay their installments and 78.38% expressed concern since they cannot meet their health expenses.
It is also noteworthy that according to the findings of the survey, when asked whether "citizens" feel happy, responding on a scale of 10, they said their happiness level is at 5.54.
