Israel announced today that relatives of its embassy staff in Kiev are leaving Ukraine, with the Israeli government citing "a deteriorating situation" in an apparent reference to the crisis between Ukraine and Russia.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry statement further urged Israelis to avoid travel to Ukraine and those there to "avoid areas of tension".
