Rebel Wilson is an inspiration and role model for anyone who wants to get rid of excess weight. In an interview with Apple Fitness+, the Australian actress revealed the simple way in which she managed to shed a full 35 pounds. The secret lies neither in exhausting diets, nor in difficult and demanding fitness programs.
She said that by walking she managed to shed the extra pounds which made her feel healthy. Rebel also said that a doctor advised her not to stop walking even now that she has reached her goal as it is the ideal and safest way to lose weight for sure.
"It doesn't have to be high intensity, it doesn't have to be uphill, just moderate walking for an hour a day. And if you can do that, for you, for your body type, it's, for example, the best way to lose unwanted body fat," the 41-year-old actress confidently advises.
As she admitted she feels "sad" that she made it to 40 and hadn't lost the pounds earlier. "Now I know I can do it. Sometimes I feel sad that I didn't do it earlier, when I was in my 30s," she told In Style to continue:
"Everyone's journey is different and it's not a race or a competition. I have a natural empathy for anyone struggling with weight issues because that's something I've always struggled with. Anyone can take walks and drink more water and do a few, consistent things that will improve their life it's never too late to start."
