The allegation of rape of a 24-year-old woman in a suite of a luxury hotel in Thessaloniki refers in a social media post to businessman Dimitris Fidirikos, whose name was implicated in the case through social media posts. On his side is the champion Katerina Dalaka, who in her post addresses those who accuse her partner asking them to check before posting abusive messages.
Specifically, she says that "to my great surprise and displeasure, I was informed that my name was involved, through accounts of dubious origin on Instagram, in a heinous act of abuse of a young girl during the holidays, which, by the way, I was absent abroad, without this meaning that if I were here I could have any involvement."
"My attitude to life and my principles would never allow me to conceive of such a thing in my life; I have already filed a lawsuit against a certain person who uses my name, arbitrarily and slanderously, which will continue which will continue with anyone who reproduces something similar highly defamatory. I clarify that my name is not in the lawsuit filed by this particular girl in Thessaloniki," he also points out.
"I also have nothing to do with Ioanna Touni's video, which she could confirm. It is extremely sad that personalities are smeared and people are slandered in order for some people to gain a few minutes of publicity. Let them do it through their work and their general social life, which is what I do every day with effort and sacrifice", adds Dimitris Fidirikos.
"Finally, without wanting to interfere in the work of the Hellenic Police. and Justice, which I trust blindly, I express my full support to the girl, as well as to any woman who may have suffered something similar, and to attribute the appropriate responsibilities where they exist. I am firmly against and opposed to all forms of violence, wherever it comes from. No tolerance," the businessman concludes.
Katerina Dalaka: Before you condemn lives, check the truth
On his side was the well-known athlete and his partner Katerina Dalakas who reposted Dimitris Fintirikos' post on Instagram. "The only comment I have to make is before you judge people and condemn lives and families to check the truth, before you send the abusive messages like die and get cancer to check. I'm sorry that no one owes someone a kind word but you immediately put out so much hate," Katerina Dalaka said.
"You could be in that position someday and believe me you would want people to check the facts before they find you and before they condemn you," she concluded.
