A queue formed outside the offices of the Türk Sen guild today, the first day of applications for job in free areas, following an agreement with the BCC.
As reported by the Kipris Post website, many of the applicants are young people and graduates. As of 8am to 12.30pm, 120 applications had been submitted, it added. It is recalled that a condition for applying is that the applicants must have an ID card or passport of the RoC.
Turkish Guild President Aslan Bitsiakli told Kipris Postasi that the applicants must be under 50 years old. He said that among the applicants are doctors and civil engineers. "Those who are pushing them into this situation should be ashamed," he added.</BB-10
