According to it, a combination of locally prolonged and intermittent heavy rain is expected to affect the region at times. Total rainfall is likely to locally range between 55 and 80 millimetres per hour.
What a yellow warning means
By issuing a yellow warning it means that people should be aware of the possibility of localised flooding to a small number of properties and problems with outdoor activities.
Also difficult driving conditions due to limited tractability and slipperiness of the road network.
