At the European Council building, where he will participate in the extraordinary meeting at which new targeted measures and sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine will be decided, President Anastasiades arrived shortly after landing in Brussels.
President Anastasiades travelled from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he was on an official visit. He was accompanied by Deputy Minister to the President Kyriakos Kousios and Deputy Government Spokesperson Niovi Parisinou and his diplomatic advisor Pantelis Pantelidis.
