A 39-year-old pregnant woman is intubated at the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital, who, according to the Cyprus Times, is in the last stages of her pregnancy.
The woman, who is reportedly unvaccinated, had to be intubated as she developed respiratory failure.
From the very first moment the staff of Nicosia Hospital was mobilized and followed the appropriate procedures, due to the fact that the woman is suffering from coronavirus.
Doctors are expected to proceed to delivery and the baby will be transferred to Makarios Hospital.
