The case of the surveillance software that is already shaking Greece seems to be taking on dimensions that also concern our country, the Democratic Party - Co-operation said in a statement.
"As the Democratic Party - Cooperation we clearly state that any possible interceptions against politicians, journalists or citizens, as well as the general activity of spy networks, apart from human rights, mainly harm democracy and the rule of law in our country."
It is imperative, he notes, without the slightest delay to shed the slightest light on this case, so that not the slightest shadow or accusation is left over the Republic of Cyprus.
"Times are critical and cunning, the last thing our country needs is a new defamation", the statement concludes.
