In the last 24 hours, the police made 17 complaints for violation of measures against COVID-19
In the last 24 hours, the police made 17 complaints during 1,597 checks carried out in all provinces for compliance with the orders of the Infectious Diseases Act.
A spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters Communication Department told CNA on Friday that the complaints concerned three establishments and 14 citizens.
In Nicosia province, 373 checks were carried out and the managers of two establishments and six citizens were denounced.
Four citizens were denounced in Limassol after 182 checks, while in Larnaca, one establishment was denounced. In total, 341 checks were carried out in the province.
In Paphos, three citizens were reported during 108 checks and one citizen in Famagusta province where 344 checks were carried out.
In the Morphou district, 149 checks were carried out, without a complaint.
Also, nationwide, the Traffic Police carried out 93 checks, and the Port Police seven, without a complaint.
