A total of 2,280 checks were carried out by the police in the last 24 hours as part of the controls on anti-coronavirus measures during which 15 citizens and managers of 3 establishments were complained about.
Speaking to the Cyprus News Agency, a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police said that in Nicosia 970 checks were carried out and one citizen was denounced, in Limassol after 217 checks the managers of two establishments and 4 citizens were denounced, in Larnaca 391 checks were carried out and 2 citizens were denounced and in Famagusta after 354 checks 7 citizens were denounced.
In Morphou 150 checks were carried out without any complaints, while in Paphos one manager of a business and one citizen were reported after 85 checks.
