The Police are already taking measures outside the US and Russian embassies in Cyprus, but also at all embassies, police spokesman Christos Andreou told the Cyprus News Agency, when asked if additional measures are being taken outside the US and Russian embassies in Cyprus because of the Russian-Ukrainian tension.
According to Mr. Andreou "the situation is constantly being assessed and where and when the need arises, appropriate measures will be taken."
As he noted, "if and when the need arises for additional measures, beyond the existing ones, due to the Russian-Ukrainian situation, appropriate instructions will be given."
In addition, he told the Cypriot News Agency that measures are already being taken outside the US and Russian embassies, and in all embassies on a daily basis, noting that static sentries are already in place and patrols are being conducted outside the embassies.
