A coordinated operation was carried out by members of the Ledras Substation in the area, for compliance with measures against covid -19.
During the operation conducted last Wednesday, 14 establishments and citizens were complained about the Infectious Disease Act and violation of the orders.
During the checks 4 foreigners who were found to be illegal were also handcuffed.
Police members also made recommendations and warnings to shopkeepers to comply with protection measures.
