Police officers helped a couple to transport their infant to a hospital
Assistance to a couple transporting their infant to a hospital in Nicosia was provided today at noon by members of the police, whowere on duty on the Limassol-Lecosia highway,where the couple was travelling in their vehicle.
t№8 The couple were transporting their two-month-old infant, who had a health problem, to the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital, in Nicosia, shortly before 12:30pm on Saturday.t№10 At a point on the highway, at Mosfiloti, where members of the Road Accident Prevention Unit OPOD, of the Headquarters Traffic Police Department, were conducting a traffic check,
the couple stopped their vehicle to ask for help.t№13After the traffic police members approached them, the couple mentioned that they were going to the hospital in a hurry due to the illness of their infant, with the police members safely escorting the couple on their way to the hospital.
