Members of the police responded to another incident last night, for the immediate transfer to the Makarios Hospital in Nicosia of a child in need of immediate medical attention.[/B]
The incident occurred at around 9:15pm, when members of the Police Headquarters Traffic Department, were on a motorized patrol on the Nicosia - Troodos road, near Astromeritis, when a vehicle approached them and the driver requested their assistance for the timely transport of his sick child to the hospital.
Immediately, the members of the Police escorted the car safely to the Macarius Hospital, where medical personnel were waiting for them for the immediate treatment of the child.
