The Police filed complaints against eleven citizens and four owners or managers of premises, after conducting 1.902 checks carried out throughout the country, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Law.
As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA, 445 checks were carried out in Nicosia, in the context of which 4 citizens and 2 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 187 checks were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints from citizens.[/B]

In Larnaca, 427 checks were carried out and a complaint was lodged against one owner of a business; in Paphos, 108 checks were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints, one citizen and one business; in Famagusta, 379 checks were carried out and 4 complaints were lodged against 4 citizens, while in the Morphou area, 180 checks were carried out without a complaint.
Also, nationwide, the Traffic Police carried out 176 checks, without a complaint.
