The police are releasing the photo and details of a wanted person in order to collect information that may help to identify him.
He is Georgios Moses, aged 26, from Nicosia, against whom a warrant has been issued for his arrest for the purposes of investigating a case of burglary of a building, theft, causing damage to property, and conspiracy to commit a felony, offences committed on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Nicosia.
Anyone who knows anything that may help to locate him is requested to contact the Nicosia CID at telephone number 22-802222, or the Citizen's Line at telephone number 1460, or the nearest Police Station.
According to the information under investigation, the 26-year-old is allegedly linked to the burglary of a shop in the area of Lakatamia, where a quantity of cigarettes and other tobacco products were stolen. The burglary and theft was committed around 01:45 am on Tuesday, February 22.
Another person allegedly connected to the burglary and theft, an 18-year-old man, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by members of the Nicosia CID on a court warrant and detained for the purpose of investigating the case.
