The last moments of Georgina will answer the mystery In the crosshairs who and when they entered the single room where the 9-year-old was hospitalized

Decisive is expected to be the next ten days regarding the death of the three children in Patras as within this period of time will have completed the first round of testimony of the doctors who had dealt with 9-year-old Georgina.

At the same time, the toxicological examinations will be completed, will be correlated with the histological examinations and the forensic report on the death of 9-year-old Georgina will be drawn up. The first results of the toxicological tests showed that pharmaceutical substances were found in the child's body.

However, they will be compared with the drugs the girl was taking and a quantitative test will be carried out. The presence of heavy metals such as potassium, arsenic and other elements that can cause heart disorders and cardiac arrest will also be investigated. The possibility of sending the samples abroad at this stage is not in sight.

What is certain is that starting with the death of Georgina, the other two deaths will also be "dusted off", since the coincidences are many, the questions that persistently demand more answers and the pain of the family of the three children who "left" so suddenly is unspeakable.

Scientists are throwing up their hands and cannot answer why Malena, Iris and Georgina from Patras disappeared within two years. The investigation undertaken by Homicide has as its main objective to determine if anyone was to blame for the children's deaths.

The 20 doctors

Reports say that Homicide analysts are focusing on the death of Georgina, on January 29, as they have all the necessary evidence to unravel the tangle of the case and solve it. Thus, the doctors who dealt with the child's health problem have begun to testify in the first phase. These are 20 doctors working in five hospitals in Athens and Patras.

The police, after being informed about the medical history, will try to penetrate into details that have to do with health problems, the treatment he received, as well as the conditions of hospitalization.

Preliminary information indicates a difference of opinion on what the doctors claim and what the 9-year-old's mother has said both in her first statement to the A.In their statements, the first doctors who were examined referred to the circumstances of Georgina's death, expressing questions about the unclear causes of this, as the child did not have any cardiac problems, but also to the fact that despite what the mother said about spasms and neurological problems, they did not find anything to confirm the above claims.

The nurses who were involved in the care of the girl in the hospitals where she was hospitalized will also be called to give statements.

The last 60 minutes of Georgina's death

The main part of the investigations is the last 60 minutes of Georgina's life. This is because they believe that whatever the cause of death, if they focus on this particular point in time they will find the solution to the mystery. They are trying, simply put, to piece together the scene on all levels to get a clear picture.

So, in the police part, they are trying to find out who and when they entered the single room of the hospital in the last hour. From doctors, nurses, attendants of other patients to people from little Georgina's family. What was her clinical picture, what medications she received, what she ate, and even what were her last words. This is essentially a kind of reconstruction of the 9-year-old's last hours, as homicide analysts will find there important clues to solving Georgina's mysterious death. It is also expected that the six forensic experts, who in 33 months have been tasked to identify the causes of death of the three children, will be called to testify.

The same information of protothema.gr say that the analysts, in a second year, are looking at the evidence available to them about what happened in the 20 days from March 21 when little Iris died at home until April 11, when Georgina was admitted to the Karamandaneio Hospital with an undetermined cause of cardiac arrest. That's when these two important events took place. The first has to do with the scene of the death of Iris, just 6 months old, in her cot in the family home in Patras, with the results of the histopathological examinations stating that the infant's death "was caused by a congenital -mostly- pathological cause (venous sinus node agenesis)".
