Part of the roof of a shop on Aneksartisia Street gave way Fortunately, there were no injuries A Limassol Municipality crew was on the spot

By luck it seems that the injury of citizens was avoided, when part of the roof of a shop[/B] operating as a jewellery store on the busy Anexartisia street[/B] in Limassol gave way.

As shown in the photo, a significant part gave way, resulting in large pieces of cement ending up on the pavement.

The shop is located at the corner of Aneksartisia Street and Themis Street and the fact that no one was at the spot at that moment is attributed to pure luck, as Aneksartisia Street is a busy street, especially on a Sunday afternoon.

As the Cyprus Times is informed, the response of the Limassol Municipality was immediate. A crew went to the site in order to clean the spot and of course to take all actions in order not to let another part of the roof give way, as it seems that this is likely.
