Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the car accident that cost actor Panos Natsis his life took place.[/B]
The accident happened at 6.45 am on Saturday morning (29.01.2022), when the motorcycle in which the actor was riding collided with a truck at the junction of Deligiorgis and Kerameikos streets, in Metaxourgeio. The truck was going down Deligiorgis Street and Panos Natsis was going down Kerameiki Street.

The first information spoke of a stop violation. However, according to an eyewitness who spoke to newsit.gr, Panos Natsis saw the stop at the last moment, hit the brakes, but the bike skidded due to the slipperiness of the road and then fell on the left side of the truck. His death was instantaneous.
The driver of the truck had not consumed alcohol
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and was arrested by the traffic police, who took him to the "Red Cross" for a breathalyzer test. There, it was found that he had not consumed alcohol.
A helmet was found at the scene of the accident, which - so far - it is not known whether Panos Natsis was wearing it or just had it with him.
