Authorities are focusing on the presenter's "action" on five porn sites and the possibility that he was making a financial profit from sextapes.Authorities are focusing on four more women who fell victim to him

The 58-year-old presenter will face the investigator and the prosecutor today, in order to apologize for felony offenses with the possibility of even pre-trial detention open. He, according to the information, will claim that he deleted the videos three years ago and someone else found them and uploaded them to a foreign site, without him, as he claims, knowing anything.

At the same time, the information says that there are still four cases of women who allegedly know that they have been victims of the action of the middle-aged presenter, but have so far been unable to locate them. For this reason, some of them will possibly cross the threshold of the Electronic Crime Unit today in order to provide evidence for the authorities to investigate.

At the same time, for Stathis Panagiotopoulos, the middle-aged "Arvyla" with his cold humor and pink perversions, the next few days will be the most difficult of his life. On the one hand, it is expected to complete the investigation of the Electronic Crime Squad, with a serious possibility that the Financial Police will be involved to investigate possible profit from the sextapes he was frantically uploading to at least 5 internet porn sites. On the other hand, the new complaint from a 28-year-old girl (family friend), who after the revelations, searched and also found two videos starring her in the house of the 58-year-old presenter, accelerate the developments and take the form of an avalanche.

But the most serious and highly aggravating in terms of criminal treatment for him will be the investigation of the Financial Police show, and the possibility of proving that he was making money from "pink trade", so the charges will not be of a misdemeanor nature but felony, in this part, with all scenarios open for the continuation of investigations.

Police are reportedly looking to find and retrieve deleted files of sexual content on the three apple computers he owns and the new iphone, as the first complainant, the 30-year-old girl in her lawsuit against him, claims that inside the computers were files with photos and porn videos of 50 women. At the same time, the second complainant in her complaint states that there are 12 videos starring 9 girls which are on a specific website with porn content. Given these facts, there may be not just two but dozens of complaints about 'Arvila', who had turned his house in Thessaloniki and his holiday home in Alonissos into 'pink studios' for the production of sensual films, often without even the consent of the young partners who were the victims of his mercilessly perverse action.

Cybercrime and Financial Police

When last Monday the prosecutor of Thessaloniki asked the Electronic Crime Unit to take over the investigation, everyone understood that things were getting dark for the 58-year-old presenter. The experienced officers of this service know very well how to move in the dark paths of the internet, how to scan the pink channels of internet pornography and especially how to ferret out sextapes whose owners deleted them in order to eliminate their electronic traces and slip away from the clutches of the law. In fact, given that they know of at least one channel that the presenter had on a pink website, with a specific nickname that included his date of birth, they have the starting point and a tangible clue to begin a deep investigation that will, as they say, go to the bone. And there is evidence that Panagiotopoulos was uploading many files to four other pink websites based overseas. At this point it is worth pointing out that this particular channel with the 58-year-old's nickname no longer appears, since he made sure to delete it, apparently confident that he would get away with it. As those who know well the underground channels of internet porn say, even if a video is deleted by the administrator of the pink channel or website, it does not disappear from the internet, as some people made sure to share it on other sites and others downloaded it on their computers either for personal viewing or to share it elsewhere.

It is characteristic that when on April 6, 2019, at 10 am, the first complainant spotted an erotic video starring herself of 1:04 duration, it was found that Panagiotopoulos had uploaded it at 6 pm the previous day and within just 16 hours it had been reproduced by 1100 users, many of whom downloaded it or distributed it elsewhere. A video that remains for many days or months, it is easy to understand how many times it has been reproduced and more importantly how difficult it is to disappear... But the most important thing is that it is visible to those who know who the person is and where the file was first uploaded from.

The analysts of the Electronic Crime Unit will need a few days to scan the "pink internet" with special systems and identify files, photos and videos that have been uploaded by this particular user.

The analysts of the Electronic Crime Unit will need a few days to scan the "pink internet" with special systems and identify files, photos and videos that have been uploaded by this particular user. Not only recently but also years ago. And at this point, the "hounds" of the DEA, pay particular attention as there is one detail that makes the difference. As they tell THEMA, it is not enough to find the videos uploaded by Panagiotopoulos over the years on the channels he had available on pornographic sites. Two additional elements are needed. The first has to do with the faces depicted in videos or photos. They need to be identified in the first instance in order to establish who they are and what their role is. Then they must be identified and report that either the video and photographs were taken without their knowledge, or testify that they were uploaded to the internet without their consent. Then, a case can be formed against them even under the existing legal framework for serious charges of privacy violation. In fact, because the offence, as 'sources' say, is continuous and therefore self-incriminating, it leads not only to Panagiotopoulos' arrest and referral to justice, but also to his pre-trial detention.

Also, the very important, as it is that a single video with identification and complaint is enough to handcuff the former co-host of "Radio Arvila".

The next stage of the investigation, the sources say, will be taken over by the Financial Police. This is because the second axis of the police investigations, is to determine whether the 58-year-old over the years made money from the "pink" photos and videos uploaded by filming his victims, often without their knowledge. The investigation at this stage cannot be carried out by the Electronic Crime Unit, but by the competent department of the National Police, which knows how to move, which accounts to search and using the "follow the money" method to prove, if indeed he did, that he was making profits from the "pink trade".

The second victim and the arrest

All these years, Stathis Panagiotopoulos managed to keep his perverse habit well hidden, to film and upload to hardcore porn sites the young girls with whom he had a relationship. When in February 2019, the now 30-year-old girl discovered 3 videos and 300 photos that Panagiotopoulos had taken with her consent and put them on the pink internet, she filed a lawsuit, but he did everything not only not to disclose his action but attempted to solve the issue out of court. Initially, he promised marriage to the complainant, then took back the proposal, even reaching the point of inviting his victim to his country house in Alonissos to meet his future wife! He seemed confident, invulnerable and unaffected by the horrible things he had committed against a young girl next door who was fascinated by his fancy TV wrap, believed in the false words and false promises of the middle-aged man of "Arvila" and when he understood him he wanted to throw ash in her eyes to cover his dirty deeds. It is worth pointing out that even in April 2019 when the first victim found a 4th video of hers on the internet and sued him demanding his arrest, the "Lamb" was not deterred. He went into hiding in Alonnisos with the police failing, as they said, to locate him. But the revelation of the case and its publication made mouths open. A second victim, the 58-year-old is reportedly taking legal action against the presenter. The now 28-year-old girl, who five years ago entered into an ephemeral relationship with the presenter, found that there are two videos of her own which were taken inside his house during the sex act without her consent.

The information says that the girl met "Arvila" through a family friend at his shop in Alonissos, but their relationship lasted only a few weeks. The middle-aged man, however, managed to direct two videos in her absence, in which he does not appear. In one of them, her face is revealed as the 58-year-old uploaded her "loose" without at least making sure to hide her face with a mosaic, in order not to be exposed to the hungry eyes of the public, which he had in this channel. Last Monday night, the second victim called the lawyer Apostolos Lytras crying and with a trembling voice she described both the relationship she had with the 58 year old and what she discovered on the internet that exposed her irreparably. After the required identifications were made, the 28-year-old girl instructed Mr. Lytra to take legal action against this particular TV personality with his cold and cruel sense of humor. In fact, the relevant links to the videos in question are attached to the lawsuit she filed, making it even easier for the authorities in their investigations, as part of the preliminary investigation ordered by the Thessaloniki Prosecutor's Office.

The 28-year-old girl's visit to the Electronic Crime Department of Northern Greece took place at midnight on Tuesday. The girl denounced everything she experienced nightmarishly to the police officers, giving the links that have been uploaded. From the investigation, it was found that the material is still active and as a result, the procedures for locating Stathis Panagiotopoulos were automatically initiated. He eventually turned himself in, putting an end to the thriller of his search.

Information says that of the two -so far- complainants who have taken legal action, another 12 videos have been identified by internet users. This "pink material" is said to have been uploaded from Stathis Panagiotopoulos' porn channel and shared on other adult internet sites. The same information says that 9 different girls can be seen, while there are also three short videos featuring the presenter alone, but without his face being visible. It is worth noting that there are at least 4 other cases of women who are alleged to have been victims of Panagiotopoulos, but at this stage they do not want to take legal action for fear of vilification, while there are also many cases of girls who were harassed in a vulgar and sexist way by the 58-year-old "Arvila". In fact, the middle-aged TV presenter was known by the nickname "dog" in the groups of Thessaloniki, as people who know him say to THEMA that he would attack like a starving dog any woman who fell in his field of vision, taking advantage of his fame and the visibility that the glass gave him. Others, speak of a man who was always characterized by an insensitivity. He kept, they say, a distance from everything and did not seem to be touched by anything. Which, moreover, was evident from his sappy and crude sense of humour. So, he may have been fired from ANT1, from the Cyprus music station where he did shows and became the negative face of the day but he doesn't seem to be bothered by anything.

Rigid and sterile of any emotion, humanity and sensitivity, he continues his life confirming what the complainant wrote in her first lawsuit that while she had lost sleep flirting even with the idea of self-destruction immersed in guilt and shame, he continued to go out on television and talk nonsense, entertaining himself in bars and restaurants without even caring about the lawsuits pending against him. But everything changed with the new lawsuit and the links sent by the complainant with the offending videos. He chose to surrender and now everything is at stake with the possibility of his pre-trial detention in sight
