Repeated cancellations of events "The measures do not matter since there are no events" says the President of the Association of Wedding Professionals, according to the government's new measures
The President of the Association of Wedding Professionals, Konstantinos Mosaikos, expresses his indignation at the image created by the thousands of cases of coronavirus and the measures taken by the government.
Speaking to the Cyprus[/B][/B] Times[/B], he stresses that the new measures are no longer relevant, as almost all events have already been cancelled.
"Both the spike in cases and the measures that ban dancing have brought massive cancellations of weddings and events for several days now, so now what measures can we comment on? They don't matter to us at a time when there are no events," he says."
Already the Association has sent letters to both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labour asking for financial support from the Government.
"There is no other solution than to compensate all professionals for the huge financial losses caused by the pandemic and the various measures taken."
As Mr. Mosaikos emphasizes, so far they have not received any response and do not know if there is an intention on the part of the Government for financial support.
What applies under the new measures.
The maximum number of persons per table is set at 8 persons, while it is reminded that dancing is prohibited in the above areas.
