Over five thousand pupils were tested today through the "test to stay" measure, in schools.
According to the Department of Health, 5103 pupils who were reported as close contacts participated in the "test to stay" measure today and underwent rapid testing.
From the tests conducted, a total of 74 positive cases were identified.
This measure aims to keep schools open and students physically present.
[/P]It is recalled that there was inconvenience in several schools today as crews that had been declared to go to some schools across the country never showed up. In a statement the Ministry of Health attributed the incident to the identification of cases and close contacts of persons comprising the crews.
