Germany
In Germany, 210,743 cases of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 14,399,012, according to data released today by the Robert Koch Institute, the country's epidemiological surveillance body. The deaths of 226 patients due to complications of COVID-19 raised the death toll of the new coronavirus pandemic in the country to 122,371, according to the same source.
Chile

Brazil today announced 93,757 new cases of coronavirus, while 971 patients died due to complications of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to health ministry figures. The Latin American country now has 28,758,647 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic, while the death toll from Covid-19 has risen to 647,390, according to the same source.
Malaysia
The Malaysian Ministry of Health announced today that in the 24 hours to midnight yesterday (Thursday) 46 patients succumbed due to complications of COVID-19 and 32,070 cases of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed. This is the highest number of cases since the outbreak. The death toll from the pandemic of the new coronavirus in the country of 33 million people reached 32,534 deaths out of a total of 3,337,227 infections.
