Entertainment centre owners demand compensation Nikos Vassiliou is furious after the government's new announcements - What will apply from January 10 in nightclubs
The owners of entertainment centres are in despair according to the President of the Pancyprian Association Nikos Vassiliou, who, speaking to the Cyprus Times immediately after the government's announcements, stressed that it is the tombstone to the already closed shops.
"They put a headstone on us from the day they banned us from dancing and now whatever they announce won't touch us, since we have already been forced to close," he said."

As Mr.Vassiliou says nightclubs "are not a church, nor a place to drink tea, but a centre of entertainment, something that these measures have ended for several days now."
According to the announcements of the Minister of Health, from January 10 a maximum limit of 200 people in restaurants, entertainment centers, weddings and baptisms is set.
The service, as mentioned by Michael Hadjipandela, will only take place on table seating, while dancing is prohibited. Also per table the maximum number was set at 8 people.
As Mr.Vasileiou underlines, they expect the government to compensate the owners of entertainment centers ,who face a number of financial problems.
