The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges Cypriots in Ukraine to remain in their homes or in safe shelters The Embassy in Kiev continues to operate

Following relevant announcements on the continuing deterioration of the situation in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites Cypriot citizens who are still in the country to remain in their homes or in safe shelters and/or other safe places until the situation is reassessed to allow their movement.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kiev continues to operate to provide guidance and consular assistance. Arrangements have also been made with the Embassy of Greece in Kiev so that, when and if conditions permit, those who wish to do so can leave the country in an organised and safe manner.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to urge Cypriot citizens who are still in Ukraine to contact the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kiev, if they have not already done so, in order to make known their presence in the country as well as their intentions. They are also invited to register their details by registering on the online platform www.connect2cy.gov.cy.

The Crisis Management Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs operates (opening hours listed) as an additional reliable means of communication, guidance and possible consular assistance to Cypriot citizens directly affected by the situation in Ukraine.
